Gary Beeber:My work has never been what is characteristically labeled “computer
art.” Rather it draws on the capabilities ofcomputers and sophisticated softwareÐsome of which I have modified andcustomized for my own purposes.

After completing work on an image, the work is saved on 1 GB (1020 MB)Jaz disks and 650 MB Compact
Discs. My pieces require files with up to 70 megabytes of disk space, astatistic which is easier to appreciate whenyou consider that a single floppy disk holds only about 1.4 megabytes.

Gary Beeber:Always searching for new ways to reproduce my images, I have settled,
for now, on direct-digital Cibachrome prints. I am impressed with the fidelity to my original computer files, and with the level of color saturation.
