I am fascinated by details, and in this latest series, architectural details. Photographed in Italy with a 35 millimeter camera, I’m not attempting to portray the appearance of structures so much as I’m expressing my understanding of their underlying beauty. I start by scanning the slide, and then begin the process of computer manipulation.
