Nick Pearson:
The objects I make re-present "low value" items, often fulfilling a
secondary, supporting role (packaging, a discarded brick, etc.) -
usually at a stage of "falling out of use". As use slips over the edge,
the objects become transformed; reused for another purpose,
refashioned, and re-presented.

Nick Pearson:
Reflecting this, and through transformations that occur in the working
process, I attempt to alter the object's meaning, and challenge the
viewer's association and awareness of the ordinary, whilst addressing
the relationship between sculpture and its "other" - the world of
everyday objects.
