What kind of artwork do you expect to be doing in the next 12 months or so?
During the next twelve months I will be preparing different prints for my 25 Year Retrospective at the Huntsville Museum of Art. The curator there Peter Baldaia will be working with mein selecting gelatin-silver, platimun, palladium, cyanotype and photgiclees. The photogiclees may be as large as 3"-0" x 5"-0"

Also, I am currently taking a photography class with the well known portrait artist/photographer Robert Farber. This class is being conducted on line with conferences and classes done "chat style." It can be viewed at:

It offers members great insight into many areas of commercial and fine art photography-especially in the area of lighting.

Is there anything about the way you produce your work that you believe to be unique or unusual?
My photography strives to find the fourth dimension. It is based on spatial layering, and although this is not a totally new concept in photography, my work has a strong continuity of this layering which ties together very diverse directions of photographed objects.

What style of art really makes you angry?
Unfortunately one big problem with working with photography in Adobe Photoshop is the ability to distort images by simply pressing one of the filter selections. This does not require very much thought and not a
whole lot of imagination. These images are usually so obvious and boring.
Do you ever expect to get rich/richer out of art?
I am happy to say that I have already gotten rich with my art because it fulfills me totally. It is what I am and what I do. I am able to provide the world with a different way of seeing and with such a feeling, a certain amount of financial security will definitely be mine in the future.
Was art your first love or do you have another passion?
Art is my first love. Art is my life. It is almost everything for which I live. In its realm my first passsion is photography and the second is singing cabaret (songs from the 20's, 30's and 40's in German, French and English)
Who do you feel has influenced art most in this century?
Yves Klein in France was widly innovative in beginning conceptual art, monochromatic painting and using naked bodies to paint canvases. Andy Warhol has had a great influence on art by showing the world that the
concept of art could be basically anything - even commercial packaging. It was with him and other pop artists that Ameican art found itself and stopped being just a continuation of Western European art. Bill Gates the technology wizard has with his computer products opened up unlimited possiblilites in producing and displaying art.
Which medium do you feel is the current spokesman of the arts?
There is no doubt that the written word found in magazines and newspapers is still the major spokesman of the arts; however, it is quickly being overtaken by computer technology, and little by little the use of paper to print magazines and newspapers will be considered a waste and they will be read on the Internet and possibly even disappear.
What would you like to be beter at, and why?
I want to be a better technician with my computer as well as with different software applications like Adobe Photshop, Dabbler and Painter. This will only be the result of time and practice, but it will definitely enhance my photogaphy and my work with it on the computer.
