Buffalo Scout "borrows" the style of the Plains tribes of the US in
depicting a man on a horse. The surrounding images would be similar to
those found on a "warrior's shield" and would represent the
"spirit-helpers" of such an object. But the painting is of my own making
and does not duplicate any known object. One of the things I enjoy doing
is depicting images that refer to the heritage of the tribal People of
Turtle Island (aka North America).
