Donald A.Jusko:
Water color, 22x30, "Skyline Drive, 6,500 foot level in Poli Poli
Park,Maui Hawaii, 1986.
Nothing beats watercolors for excitement. It was mid afternoon and
theclouds were rolling in, the 300 lb hot pressed paper was washed and
driedin the morning. Just a few lines marked the road and main tree
positions.
I sprayed the whole paper and did the sky and the warm parts of the
road. While the sky was drying I added the overlapping parts of the
background.
Soon the first 100% coverage was finished. Time to relax and wait for
everything to dry, so I could re-wet specific areas without the pigment
moving. The darks closest to me were mixed from Thalo Crimson and Thalo
Green, this is a medium dark while the background was made from Diox.
Purple and Thalo Green.

Russell Elden:
Title: Flying North
Price: $16,000.00 USD
Height: 46" x Width 60"
Media: Patenated Copper and Brass Weaving
My work is about the woven structure each of us lives in--the layers we look through each day to find meaning. My inspiration comes from processes both natural and human, more than products. Nature, and humankind's relationship to it, also has an important influence in my work. Wherever possible, I look to use materials that are recycled and shy away from the artificial or manmade. I work in any media, including metallurgy/sculpture, media art I call "Pulp Culture" and Jewelry.
