Nothing beats watercolors for excitement. It was mid afternoon and
theclouds were rolling in, the 300 lb hot pressed paper was washed and
driedin the morning. Just a few lines marked the road and main tree
positions.
I sprayed the whole paper and did the sky and the warm parts of the
road.While the sky was drying I added the overlapping parts of the
background.
Soon the first 100% coverage was finished. Time to relax and wait for
everything to dry, so I could re-wet specific areas without the pigment
moving. The darks closest to me were mixed from Thalo Crimson and Thalo
Green, this is a medium dark while the background was made from Diox.
Purple and Thalo Green.

Nature, and humankind's relationship to it, also has an important influence in my work. Wherever possible, I look to use materials that are recycled and shy away from the artificial or manmade. I work in any media, including metallurgy/sculpture, media art I call "Pulp Culture" and Jewelry.
