If anyone thought it couldn't get any better than 1997 Every inch of the street has something new to offer, facepainting, musicians,beer, jugglers, tarot readers, booksellers, records, food, clothes, antiques, performers, bouncy castle,, wet sponges!, DJ's...oh everything you can think of! The air filled with music, onions, and eccentric characters and sun tan lotion..Strange but true. |

As part of Walcot Nation Day, the Fringe commissioned local artist, Julie Starks to create a carnival style procession with young people from the Riverside, the young club & activity centre on the London Road.
