On these three color wheels, the Pigment, the RGB light, and the YCM light. The Yellow spectrum can be devided at it's center into warm or cool colors..

All rim colors including the Red, Yellow and Green scale down to Black.The Green to Black scale and Yellow to Black scale are both coolscales. Only the Red to Black scale has no Green in it and so being isa warm scale.

If yellow uses the Red's Black as it's centering dark scale color(instead of it's own cool Black color that is half Green), all yellow scaled colors will be warm as in the Pigment Color Wheel.

In the Pigment Color Wheel as in the light color wheels, the Yellow toThe second light color that needs revision to match the pigment color wheel is Cyan. Cyan going to Black adds Green to the mix. Cyan using the Black from Ultramarine Blue's scale to Black removes the Green. Now painted sky colors will look natural.That's it! Now all three color wheels have the same scalled cromas. It's nice not to have green in the Naples Yellow or Deep cyan. Now all the earth colors will be in there proper color catagory.
